HockomockSports.com Player of the Week - Milford senior Eli Rosenberg was selected as the HockomockSports.com Player of the Week for Sept. 6-13. Rosenberg is the first athlete chosen as Player of the Week for the 2026-27 school year. Rosenberg caught three touchdown passes to help Milford open its season with a commanding 49-7 win over visiting Framingham. He finished with three catches for 120 yards. One of just two seniors in the starting lineup, Rosenberg also chipped in with a big night in the return game and in the secondary to get the Hawks off to the perfect start.
Hockomock League Captains Conference - MHS Fall Sports captains joined other Hockomock League Fall Captains for a full morning that was focused on leadership, communication, team culture, and the responsibility that comes with being a captain. This conference was extremely collaborative, and was an outstanding representation of quality leaders within the Hockomock League. Our captains were recognized multiple times for their leadership, respectful interactions, and being great ambassadors. Our captains were outstanding!
LEAP (Leadership Executive Ambassador Program) Facilitator - Kyla Nashawaty, Milford HS Senior and Girls Soccer Captain, was one of nine Hockomock League LEAP members who were tasked with organizing the Hockomock League Fall Captains Conference. The LEAP members weren't just attending a leadership conference, they were asked to stand in front of hundreds of their peers from across the Hockomock League, take ownership of an activity, communicate clearly, manage groups, adapt on the fly, and ultimately lead other leaders. We are very proud of Kyla for her organization and leadership for this important Hockomock League initiative. Bravo, Kyla!
