Guided night hike to be held at Louisa Lake 

The Friends of the Milford Upper Charles Trail will hold an Owl Prowl on Nov. 7 from 5-6 p.m. at the Lions Club Pavilion at Louisa Lake, Dilla St., in Milford. 

Anyone curious about the sounds of the night who wishes to participate in a short education session, and then hike on a paved trail, can join this nighttime adventure. The hike will last approximately 45 minutes at a moderate pace. Wildlife encounters are never guaranteed.

Hikers should wear sturdy, closed-toe walking shoes and weather-appropriate layers; bring water and a flashlight or headlamp with a red-light setting; and expect dark or uneven trails; walk quietly and follow your guide.

Please leave pets at home. 

No registration is required, just arrive before 5 p.m. 

The program will take place outdoors after dark and may be rescheduled in severe weather.
