We want to thank our custodial staff and maintenance team for all of their hard work this summer cleaning, repairing, and improving our buildings. There were many great projects happening across the District. Just a few highlights include:
• Painting of classrooms and hallways at Stacy Middle School
• New flooring and painting of many classrooms at Memorial Elementary School
• Refinished Gym floors at Milford High School and Stacy Middle School
• Roofing repairs at Brookside Elementary School
Additionally, lots of smaller improvements and refreshed facilities can be found at every building. Our custodial team has been incredibly busy all summer in preparation for our staff and students. Our hallways and classrooms were sparkling and ready for the new school year.
The Milford Public Schools Music Department is gearing up for a wonderful year! A big welcome to our new music teacher, Ms. Emily Frye, who is teaching at Memorial Elementary School and at our new music program at Shining Star Preschool!
Woodland Elementary School
Woodland Elementary School would like to recognize the efforts of their two amazing Administrative Assistants, Ms. Renatha Placido and Ms. Marina Perreira. They continue to do an amazing job supporting families, faculty, and staff returning for the school year. The Main Office is incredibly busy during the first few days of the school year, and their efforts have been invaluable!
