On Mon., Sept. 21, the Greenleaf Garden Club of Milford, Inc. will feature Mike and Angelina Chute of Rose Solutions at the Ruth Anne Bleakney Senior Center, 60 North Bow St., Milford. 

Their presentation will explore the remarkable life and legacy of renowned English rosarian David Austin, whose vision transformed modern rose breeding by combining the charm, fragrance, and form of old garden roses with the repeat blooming qualities and vigor of modern varieties. This program promises to offer valuable insights, practical knowledge and a deeper appreciation for one of the world’s most celebrated rose breeders.

Following the presentation, Mike and Angelina will answer questions, and will have copies of their books Roses for New England: A Guide to Sustainable Rose Gardening, and Rose Gardening Season by Season: A Journal for Passionate Gardeners available for purchase.

The meeting is open to the public and will start at 6:30 p.m. with refreshments.  The program will begin at 7 p.m. There is a donation of $5 for non-members. If you join the club, the fee will be applied to the $30 annual membership fee.
