Scouting America Troop 219 is a growing troop of girls, ages 11 to 17, from Milford and surrounding towns. 

This summer, the Scouts spent a week at Camp Squanto in Plymouth, Mass., where they learned key life skills, teamwork, and explored new interests, including wilderness survival, movie making, water sports, fire safety, and more.

Their days were filled with merit badge classes and hands-on learning, while the evening activities gave scouts an opportunity to play games, swim at the waterfront, and build lifelong friendships. 

This camp is available to scouts each summer, and is a highlight of their scouting year! Next up, they’re preparing for their Bike Camping Trip to Block Island in September.
