Letter to the Editor
The Friends of Mendon Elders wish to thank the community for another successful town-wide yard sale which was a tremendous success because our community showed up in full force.
To everyone who supported this beloved Mendon tradition, we extend our deepest gratitude you turned a great day into an unforgettable one. Your support keeps our Senior Center thriving and will enable us to continue offering the programs and activities that mean so much to our seniors.
Thank you to our incredible volunteers and community partners - Mendon Girl Scout Troop @65245, Brothers of The Brush and Police Department - the behind-the-scenes heroes who lifted tables, constructed signs, directed traffic, sorted donations, answered questions, and kept the day running smoothly, we couldn’t do this without you.
To our yard salers who set up early, welcomed shoppers, and filled the town with treasures and good cheer, thank you for your energy and enthusiasm. And finally, to the thousands of bargain hunters who came out to explore Mendon, meet neighbors, and enjoy the day, your excitement is what makes this event such a joyful community celebration.
And we would also like to take this opportunity to thank our incredible sponsors who help sustain the many programs, activities, and services at the Mendon Senior Center: Imperial Cars, Boucher Energy Systems, Lowell’s Restaurant, Sutfol Autobody and Sales, Dean Bank, Devaney Energy, Jolicoeur Overhead Doors, Candy Machine Tattoo Studio, Pandolfi Fine Chocolate, Muffin House, Market Basket, Frank’s Appliances, Shop Small, Hosta Farm, Postal Center, Byer Piano Service, Smart Style, Dr. Tank Install, Knights of Columbus #1562, Mendon Family Dentist, ABMI-TV, Studio 16, Bay State RV Inspection, Charles River Bank, Mendon Lions, and PAWS-Bed and Biscuit.
