The Milford Senior Center held a special celebration in June to honor both the 250th birthday of the United States and the 100th birthday of Milford resident Charles “Babe” Frascotti.
The event took place at the Milford Senior Center and featured live music from the East/West Duo along with food from Gene’s Variety.
Frascotti’s life has been marked by service to both his country and his community. A lifelong Milford resident, he served honorably in the United States Navy as a Seabee during World War II. He and his wife, Lucy, have built a family that includes two children, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
As he celebrates his 100th birthday, family, friends, and fellow community members recognized his lifetime of dedication, service, and local pride.
