Local resident takes the helm at Postal Center USA in Whitinsville
Whitinsville — Akansha Jain, a proud resident of Upton since 2019, has acquired Postal Center USA at 1225 Providence Rd., Whitinsville — and she's ready to make her mark on the community she calls home.
"We love this neighborhood," says Jain, who lives with her husband and two children — a 12-year-old daughter at Miscoe Hill Middle School and an 8-year-old son at Memorial Elementary. "We wanted to grow our roots here and be a part of something meaningful. Owning this store felt like the perfect way to do that."
Postal Center USA has long been a go-to resource for residents across Northbridge, Upton, Grafton, Milford, and surrounding towns. Under Jain's ownership, the center continues to offer comprehensive shipping services through FedEx, UPS, USPS, and DHL, along with Amazon return drop-offs, copying, faxing, document scanning, secure shredding, and mailbox rentals.
Jain has wasted no time putting her stamp on the business. The store has undergone a modern upgrade, now featuring self-checkout capabilities to make visits faster and more convenient. The welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere reflects her vision for the space.
A firm believer in investing in the local community, Jain has already hired three employees from the neighborhood and is actively looking to grow her team. "We employ local talent and we're always looking for good people," she says.
