2026 Notice to Dog Owners

Beginning April 1, 2026, all dog owners who have not renewed their dog’s license for the previous year will be required to pay for both years:

1. The 2025 Dog license plus ($10) late fee for the unpaid year, &

2. The new license fee for the current year.

To avoid additional charges, please make sure your dog’s license is renewed before March 31, 2026. Licensing your dog helps ensure compliance with State and Town By-Laws, supports animal control office services, and assists in returning lost pets to their owners. Cost breakdown: Male and Female dogs $25 per dog (per year). Spayed and neutered dogs $6 per dog (per year). PLUS an additional $10 late fee per dog licensed after July 1, 2026. Fees can be paid in cash, check, or credit card. (Note: Unibank will charge an additional service fee for credit/debit cards used)
