Upton Historical Society receives donation from UniBank
The Upton Historical Society is pleased to announce that UniBank has generously donated $1,000 in support of the Society’s ongoing efforts to preserve and share the history of the town of Upton, Massachusetts. With this contribution, UniBank becomes a Heritage Champion Sponsor of the organization.
Founded in 1968, the Upton Historical Society is a private non-profit organization incorporated under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 180. The Society works to collect, preserve, and interpret the historical records and artifacts that tell the story of Upton and its residents.
The Society’s mission is to enrich the community by preserving historical records, artifacts, photographs, recordings, and mementos of Upton’s past, and to share and celebrate that history through research, publications, exhibits, tours, programs, events, and educational initiatives.
The Town of Upton, Massachusetts, originally chartered in 1735, has a rich heritage that the Society strives to document and make accessible to the public.

The Upton Historical Society is funded through member dues, private donations, fundraising activities, and sponsorships. Contributions such as UniBank’s Heritage Champion sponsorship allow the organization to continue maintaining its collections and expanding public programs that highlight the town’s history.
