Comparing December and January calls

Throughout the months of December and January, Mendon Police Officers conducted targeted traffic enforcement on several roadways within the community. During these efforts, officers closely monitored vehicle speeds and overall roadway safety conditions. In addition to observing traffic violations, officers remain attentive to a variety of different factors drawing on their experience patrolling these roads day and night. Many of our officers have served the community for several years and are well familiar with normal traffic patterns, allowing them to quickly identify unusual or unsafe behavior.

The Mendon Police Department would like to thank community members for their continued support and cooperation. Community input plays a critical role in our enforcement efforts. Residents are encouraged to utilize the traffic enforcement request form available on the Mendon Police Department website to report ongoing traffic issues in their neighborhoods. These submissions help guide officers in determining which areas of town require additional attention.
