About the Friends of the Milford Upper Charles Trail
The Friends of the Milford Upper Charles Trail is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization that for 20 years has promoted the safe use and maintenance of the Milford section of the Upper Charles Trail. It coordinates with several Town of Milford boards to address maintenance issues and enhance the overall trail experience for the community.
The Upper Charles Trail is a proposed 25-mile rail trail that will ultimately connect Milford, Ashland, Sherborn, Holliston, and Hopkinton. Milford was the first town to open a complete section, which extends 6.58 miles from the Milford Senior Center north to the Hopkinton town line and east to the town of Holliston. There, it joins the Holliston section of the trail that continues to Sherborn.
