This year’s theme is ‘Dressed Up, Not Messed Up’

The Milford Youth Center will host its 11th “Dressed Up Not Messed Up” Fashion Show on Feb. 27.

Parents and/or guardians of children interested in participating should contact Joanna at [email protected] or call the Center at 508-473-1756.

Participants will be able to enjoy getting their hair and makeup done by local professionals all while dressing up and walking down a runway to music by a DJ.

The intent of “Dressed Up, Not Messed Up” is to raise awareness about underage substance use and help teens so they can make healthy and positive decisions throughout life. It also aims to increase youth’s self-esteem and attitudes, and will touch on the importance of diversity and inclusion.

To make this possible, we need local barbers, hairdressers and makeup artists to help for a couple hours before the show to do hair and makeup. If you are able to help, please contact the MYC at 508-473-1756 or email Joanna at [email protected].
