Drop Off Locally for Cornerstone's "Stockings for Seniors" by December 1

Milford, MA— Cornerstone at Milford Assisted Living is ready to bring some holiday cheer with their 12th annual Stockings for Seniors Fundraiser, an initiative established to donate clothing and personal care items to fellow senior neighbors in need. The community is collecting items to stuff stockings for the councils on aging in Milford, Bellingham, Franklin and Holliston, which will distribute the gifts to area seniors for the holidays. Cornerstone at Milford launched this fundraiser in 2013. Each year, local businesses, individuals, and organizations come together to meet the needs of older adults in need of clothing, personal care, and household items. At its core, the initiative offers support to seniors who may not have family nearby, or those who may have experienced personal losses throughout the year. Stockings for Seniors reminds them that they are valued members of our communities. This year, you can drop off items at Cornerstone at Milford, as well as, these community partners and care providers: ● Cornerstone at Milford: 11 Birch St, Milford, MA, ● Countryside Healthcare: 1 Countryside Dr, Milford, MA, ● Franklin Senior Center: 10 Daniel McCahill St, Franklin, MA, ● Milford Senior Center: 60 North Bow St., Milford, MA, ● Bellingham Senior Center: 40 Blackstone St, Bellingham, MA, ● Tri-County Regional High School: 147 Pond St, Franklin, MA, ● Central One Federal Credit Union: 82 Prospect St, Milford, MA Donors are invited to drop off requested items from now until December 1st.
