Pet of the Month: Meet Dusty

Dusty is a lovely grey lady presently residing in the senior room of Milford Humane Society, but she’s not a senior, just an old soul. Dusty is what some may call a Spirit Cat, she is quite shy and the master of disguise - sometimes you might not even notice she’s in the room with you. 

 When Dusty first arrived at the shelter she was very nervous and these days she still takes time to trust people. But anyone who puts in the time and effort to gain her trust will be well rewarded. She is an absolute sweetheart. Once Dusty knows you, she loves nothing more than to receive pets and purr as she makes biscuits by the dozen. Dusty took her time adjusting to life in the shelter, so it is to be expected that she would also take some time to adjust being in a new home. Dusty would do best in a quiet home either as an only pet or with a calm cat companion, and with a patient and understanding person(s) so she can adjust to her new surroundings at her own pace.
