We are having so much fun with our little ones at the Milford Family and Community Network CFCE (MFCN CFCE). Last month, we completed our Kindergarten Bootcamp program where participants practiced basic skills needed to be successful in a kindergarten classroom. We learned about our local Community Helpers when we welcomed a community ambulance, the Milford Police Department and the Milford Fire Department to interact with our families. The kids enjoyed climbing on the large vehicles and meeting the police K-9 unit dogs.  

Our annual trip to the Southwick’s Zoo did not disappoint. The weather didn’t slow us down – our families loved seeing all the animals! 

Join us for “Are You Ready for Kindergarten?” a program for parents/caregivers of students entering kindergarten in the fall. This program will be held in the Brookside Elementary School cafeteria on Wednesday, June 11, from 6 - 7:30 p.m.

The MFCN CFCE wrapped up our spring session of registered playgroups last month with over 60 families participating at our Milford, Hopedale and Bellingham playcenters! We will be offering Summer Drop-In Playgroups on most Wednesdays and Thursdays in July and August from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. These structured playgroups are FREE for children and their caregiver.
