Everyone who participates will win a prize, but the more you participate, the more tickets you will earn to put toward our Level Up prize drawing.

Check our website (milfordtownlibrary.org) on Monday, June 16 for all the program and prize details!

Last year’s Adult Summer Reading Program, “Read, Renew, Repeat”, attracted nearly 100 adult participants!

The Adult Summer Reading  program is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Milford Town Library, and supported by our friends at Blooming Hearts Roastery, Friendly Fire Paintball, and TJ Cafe & Games!

Center Book Group

The Center Book Group meets next on Tuesday, June 17 at 10 a.m. at the Milford Senior Center. The June book selection is Sea of Tranquility by Emily St. John Mandel. St. John Mandel, author of the award-winning Station Eleven and The Glass Hotel, returns with a spectacular novel in the speculative fiction genre. Readers begin on Vancouver Island in 1912 and traverse time and space to a colony on the moon five hundred years later. What makes St. John Mandel’s writing so exciting is her ability to create characters and worlds that challenge readers to consider what it means to be human, no matter the place or time period. To reserve a copy of Sea of Tranquility or to learn more about the Center Book Group, call 508-473-2145 ext. 2.
