The Bellingham Athletic Booster Club “B.A.B.C.”, in conjunction with the Bellingham Athletic Department is pleased to announce the Class of 2025 inductees into the BHS Athletic Hall of Fame.  

The inductees include three contributors, five student-athletes, and the Super Bowl Champion 1998 Football team; Roger Guillemette (Hockey Coach 79-83), the father-son duo of Harold Maines (Contributor 60’s-70’s) and Kevin Maines (Football, Base-ball, & Basketball, Class of 1974), Lisa Motroni (Field Hockey, Track, Class of 1995), Lisa Payne (Field Hockey, Softball, Class of 1987), John Simpson (Basketball Con-tributor), Greg Smith (Baseball, Football, Class of 1993), Michael Trudeau  (Baseball, Basketball, Class of 1985), and the 1998 Football Team captained by (alphabetically) Shawn Koulopoulos, Jon McGettrick, Sonny Milani, and Justin Prophet.

This will be the 5th induction class with the prior 4 coming in 2018, 2019, 2021, & 2023; showcased on bellinghamk12.com (see athletics * hall of fame).  The Class of 2025 induction will be held on Friday, November 21 at the Bellingham Coachmen’s Lodge.  Tickets will go on sale beginning August 1 and traditionally sell out quickly.

Bellingham Director of Athletics, Michael Connor, noted that the Hall of Fame remains in its infancy with only five teams being previously inducted, 11 contributors/coaches, and 23 student-athletes.  Comparatively, Bellingham has seen more than 85 graduat-ing classes, and tens of thousands of Blackhawk student-athletes have represented the community, making induction into the hall of fame … rarified air.
