Summer Library Hours

The library will be closed on Saturdays during the summer. Saturday hours will return after Labor Day on Saturday, September 7.

Atelier Artists New Work 2024: Exhibit

An exhibition of new artwork by the Atelier Artists will be held at the library during July and August. This group of senior artists are part of an artists’ collective founded by Sal Ferreira in 2007 to support and inspire each other in their artistic pursuits.

This year’s artists have worked primarily in oil and acrylic with some watercolor and photography as well. While the artwork can be viewed anytime the library is open, we hope you’ll also join us for an opening reception on Thursday, July 18 from 6 - 8 p.m. Light refreshments will be served and you’ll have an opportunity to meet the artists and perhaps, purchase an original piece of artwork for your home or office.

Adult Summer Reading Program

The 2024 Adult Summer Reading Program is here and response has been tremendous!

This year's theme is "Read, Renew, Repeat" and we're playing Adventure Bingo to connect with and enjoy all the wonderful resources that Milford has to offer. Everyone who participates will win a prize, but the more you participate, the more tickets you will earn to put toward our Adventure Prize drawing and our Grand Prize drawing. We've got four amazing prizes to give away from several Milford businesses!

The Adult Summer Reading Program takes place Monday, June 24 - Friday, August 16. For program and prize details, visit our Adult Summer Reading 2024 page of our website:

This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Milford Town Library and supported by our friends at CraftRoots Brewing, Depot Street Tavern, Milford Bicycle, Rail Trail Flatbread Company, and TJ Cafe & Games.
