60 Milford Girl Scouts gather at Camp Laurel Wood

Milford Girl Scouts celebrated one of their most cherished traditions this September: their bi-annual town wide encampment at Camp Laurel Wood in Spencer, Mass.

Sixty Girl Scouts ranging in age from 6-18 got together for a weekend of outdoor fun and sisterhood. The girls participated in kayaking & canoeing, camp cooking, crafts, campsite fun, fire building, letterboxing and singalongs, all planned by our graduating  troop of Girl Scouts. It was truly a memorable weekend for all.

First graders in Daisy Troop 65347 enjoyed every second of it. The 4th graders of troop 65223 loved tie dying and had so much fun at all the stations they did not want to leave. The older girls of troop 30016 were so grateful to the volunteers and the graduating Girl Scouts for planning just a lovely day.
