Mendon Senior Center Update: Expansion and Programs

The Mendon Council on Aging is pleased to announce that the Senior Center expansion project is beginning to move forward after the long pandemic delay. In the past several weeks, we have met with some of the original designers, the Select Board and other members of town government. We anticipate an article for funding to be raised at the Annual Town Meeting this May. If the funding passes, we then will proceed to the detail Engineering and Building Design Phase, providing us with a projected cost for future town approvals. We will work to get the best quotes and finalize design requirements. We also have meetings planned with State Senator Ryan Fattman's staff to explore what support we may receive from them and have also reached out to State Representative Brian Murray. Stay tuned: "things are moving again".

Your help is needed!
Attend the May Town meeting on Friday, May 5, 2023 at 7 p.m. and support the Senior Center Expansion Article.
