Milford Youth Football & Cheer will hold informational event

The Milford Youth Football & Cheer (MYFC) will hold a full program Information Event on Thursday, April 25 at 6:30 p.m. in the Milford High School Auditorium.

This will be an open forum event, designed to answer any and all questions pertaining to the Milford Youth Football & Cheer Program and the upcoming 2024 season. This event is free, open to the public and all are welcome to join. If you would like a certain topic addressed at this meeting, please email questions to:

Guest speakers to give an overview of the programs offered will include: 

Steve Bournazian - MYFC President 

Willie Vasquez - MYFC Football Coordinator 

Kirsten Schwenke - MYFC Cheerleading Coordinator 

Brian Karp - MYFC Flex Flag Coordinator 

In addition to the guest speakers, past and present MYFC coaches will be attending to add perspective and answer any questions pertaining to the expectations and logistics of what a typical football/cheer season would look like. 

MYFC offers the following programs for the 2024 Fall season: 

Flex Flag Football – Kindergarten through third grade 

Tackle Football – second grade through eighth grade  

Instructional Cheerleading – Kindergarten through second grade 

Competitive Cheerleading – third grade through eighth grade

Milford Youth Football & Cheer is a 501(c)(3) non-profit youth athletic organization run and organized by dedicated volunteers.  Our goal is to encourage and increase youth participation in football and cheerleading, with a focus on building character, self-confidence, and good sportsmanship within our athletes.
