Advent and Christmas at the United Parish of Upton

The United Parish would like to invite you to participate in our community events this month.
Dec. 21: Community Supper - on the third Thursday of each month from September through June at 5:30 p.m., our Faith in Action committee provides a delicious and nutritious meal for the community. Everyone is welcome. Please check our website: www.unitedparishupton.org/ministries/community-supper for this month's menu.
Our Early Learning Center is seeking a few new volunteer members for the Advisory Board. The commitment is minimal (usually one meeting per month). It is not a requirement to be a member of the congregation. We would especially love one of the new members to have experience in early childhood education and knowledge of related regulations, but this is not a requirement. The ELC is not only a ministry of the church, but a beloved resource to our greater community. Please contact [email protected] if you are interested in learning more.
Soul Fuel Cafe is open Tuesday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. Free wifi. coffee, tea, daily fresh bread, pizza, brownies, cookies and more. This is a great place to hang out with friends, work on a puzzle, read, write, or just chill. There is always a friendly face to greet you.
In addition to our regular Sunday worship service at 9:30 a.m., all our welcome to participate in the following special services for Christmas:
Longest Night Service: Thursday, Dec. 21, 1 p.m. in the vestry and 7 p.m. in the sanctuary
Christmas Eve Family Service: Sunday, Dec. 24, 5 p.m. in the sanctuary
Christmas Eve Candlelight and Communion Service: Sunday, Dec. 24, 11 p.m. in the sanctuary.

All are welcome at the United Parish of Upton.
